Fillmore is a town situated in Putnam County, Indiana. According to the Census Bureau, Fillmore had a population of approximately 526 in 2014. The town was originally known as Nicholsonville and a post office was established under this name in the mid-1800s. In 1861, the town was renamed Fillmore. Today, the post office still operates.

Greencastle is home to the Putnam County Public Library, DePauw University, and the Kresge Auditorium at the Green Center for the Performing Arts. Fillmore residents who enjoy spending time outdoors are also provided easy access to the DePauw Nature Park. This beautiful nature park is home to a beautiful river, large woods, and trails.
